
Greg R. Meredith
Greg R. Meredith attended the University of Utah and majored in Business Management. While attending the university, Mr. Meredith began his career working at a large regional bank, gaining a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the financial industry.
During various mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Meredith worked closely with the audit and compliance departments to reduce operational risk. With Mr. Meredith’s increasing knowledge and experience of the intricacies of compliance and audit, he was involved in the various compliance and audit committees to develop policies and procedures for the growing bank. He was also heavily involved in the implementation of the risk management initiatives and disaster recovery programs.
Over the course of Mr. Meredith’s career, he has moved on to lead and manage large operational units and implement audit programs and develop strong working relationships with various independent examination organizations and also governmental agencies such as the OCC, the NCUA and the FDIC.
Mr. Meredith has been involved in the operational areas of many banks, both large and small, and has been instrumental in establishing risk based audit procedures. He has implemented risk management programs and has successfully streamlined FDIC compliance auditing procedures for small banks.
Mr. Meredith has been involved with several national roundtables for compliance and internal audit. He was instrumental in constructing the BRM Risk Analysis Model and has refined it to include many non-financial institutions. Mr. Meredith has attended national symposiums and been asked to address several conferences.
